Begin with Prayer, then read Hebrews 10:22-25
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled
to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold
unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we
may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one
another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Ponder this Marist Moment:
Your privileges include being able to count on the special protection of Mary, who is so powerful.
By permitting her name to become your name, she also wants to see you bear it with honour;
she will help you. …Consider therefore, all that you may henceforward expect from the goodness
and mercy of Mary, both for yourselves and for all those whom you may recommend to her.

Simply use the questions below as starters to guide your sharing.
-
What part of the Litany strikes you the most ?
-
Which line is most encouraging for you?
-
Which concept of trust or deliverance is most challenging for you to believe or accept?
-
How has God used others to ‘spur you on to love and good deeds’ or give encouragement and support?
-
When have you been used by God to give that for others?
-
What area of your life do you most need to trust God?
-
Pray the Litany together again.
Pray with and for each other then conclude with this prayer.
Mary our Mother and Guide, By your gracious choice you have chosen us to bear your name
so we call upon your intercession and protection.
Help us through your merits and prayers to grow
ever more like you
in loving and serving your Son Jesus in our daily lives.
Pray that the Holy Spirit help us love those who feel lost, outcast or estranged from your Son
and His Church.
May we have your trust and faith in God and be your gentle presence of Divine mercy toward others.
May we build one another up in Christ and always know your kindness
as we commit our lives, families, communities and world to your care and prayer. Amen
