Kia Ora Lay Marists, Marian Mothers & friends,

As we enter the month of the Holy Rosary, it is a timely reminder that we can commit our hopes and consolations, difficulties and sorrows, life and death to Mary our Queen, for her special care and protection.

I’m sure many of us have been moved by the passing of Queen Elizabeth ll, a faithful, Christian woman who gave so much in her loving service as Monarch, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We pray for the happy repose of her soul and for healing of the sorrow in her family.

It’s been a busy month, and many Marist groups around NZ and the world have celebrated the Holy Name of Mary in their own special way. In Auckland, our Marist Lay community found it difficult to get together in September so are having a special Mass and shared lunch on Sat. October 8th, in our new centre in Ponsonby Road.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Margaret in the office either by email – office@maristlaitynz.org or by phone 021 793 854 before October 6th.

Prayer & Blessings from Fr Chris, and Margaret
