A National Safeguarding Framework – Working Together for a Safe Church – operates in the Auckland Diocese, and all the Roman Catholic Dioceses of NZ. Marist Laity implements these national policies and procedures.

The Safeguarding Framework  includes a Code of Conduct for Employees & Volunteers signed by all employees and volunteers when they start their role.  You can view the Code of Conduct  and the Core Safeguarding Practices developed for communities to follow throughout all activities, special events and  programmes  HERE.
