Pray for each other’s needs then conclude with this prayer written for the upcoming General Chapter for the Society of Mary: 

Lord Jesus,

In the Upper Room, 

your mother Mary, your disciples and the women were united in prayer. 

Through the action of the Holy Spirit

their hearts were opened and they overcame their fear, 

becoming living witnesses to your Gospel.

As we prepare for our General Chapter, 

grant us the grace to listen attentively to your voice, 

to be sensitive to the needs of our world, and 

to discern the ways we are called to serve in these challenging times.

Through your Spirit, 

fill us with the same boldness and zeal as Mary, the women and the apostles. 

May we proclaim your Word to all. 

May we be instruments of mercy 

in a world longing for your healing touch. 

Amen.
