Begin with Prayer, then read Isaiah 55:1-3

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat.                 Come, buy wine and milk  without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,

and you will delight in the richest of fare.
Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live!”

  • What two or three things regularly take your time or cause anxiety if left undone?

  • When have you experienced God revealing His order, timing or lightness to your worries?

  • What can stop you taking practicalities to Jesus ? How might the way of praying Adelie has shared help you and your family?

  • What are some ways you sense God  ‘speaking’ to you? What surprises you about God ‘speaking’ through other people or circumstances

Ponder Marian Mothers Charter No. 5

When a mother co-operates with God and His loving plan for herself and her family, she is nurtured by the Holy Spirit.  She becomes holy; is a blessing and a grace for her family and others.

“The Spirit of God has made His home in you.”  Romans 8:9

Pray with and for each other to grow in listening to God.

Closing Prayer

Lord, in the busy-ness of our daily lives among the chores and our many responsibilities,

help us find time to listen to you, under whatever guise you choose to come.

We thank you for always being there, leading us and ready to lessen our concerns. Amen
